The technical discipline specialist back on track Before the start of the new season, Camille Rast extended her contract with the HEAD World Cup Rebels for another two years. Following her severe knee injury, the Swiss athlete now wants to get back on track. She has been a skier most of her life. Camille Rast learned to ski before her second birthday. And then she skied from one success to the next. Her World Cup debut was in Sölden in 2016 at the age of 17. At the Junior World Championships in Aare in 2017 she won Gold in the Slalom. The same year she managed her best World Cup result so far: ninth place in the Giant Slalom in Kronplatz. The enthusiastic mountain bike downhiller also caused a stir at the 2019 Swiss Championships when she skied to victory in the Giant Slalom ahead of Wendy Holdener.
