For Accuracy, It’s Back To Skill School

With your host, world tennis champion John McEnroe. In Episode 3, John shares his views on how two teams compete in accuracy skills, for the coveted Golden Racquet.

Putting The Ball Where It Isn’t

If you don’t hone those accuracy skills you’re going to let your opponent dictate the game.

Accuracy is vital because it directly impacts the outcome of a point or even the entire game. In tennis, padel and pickleball, it really matters that you hit the ball with precision and control to place it where it’s going to be very difficult for your opponent to return.

In tennis, if you consistently hit with accuracy you’re not only going to score points but also force errors from your opponent. It’s also important in serving, where a well-placed serve can give a real advantage in the point. Good accuracy means you can more easily hit drop shots or other deceptive shots that catch your opponent off guard.

Think you could improve on your accuracy? Watch episode 2 of Skill School and pick up a few tips.
