HEAD EYEWEAR SUPPORTS HEAD SNOWBOARD EVENT IN JAPAN

For the promotion of the new superlight carving snowboard ‘KIZAMU’, HEAD Japan held an event in which participants were backed in the 80´s and beginning of 90´s when carving was booming.  Carving was special and notable in those days whereas shield sunglasses were a popular accessory. To underline the revival of the carving era and its again growing popularity especially in Japan, HEAD eyewear licensee Wagner + Kuehner joint forces with HEAD Snowboard to support a special event for testing the brand new KIZAMU board which took place in Hakuba-Happo, Japan on January 19 and 20, 2019.

All 120 KIZAMU test riders have been equipped with the HEAD sunglasses perfectly matching the carving style.  Beyond being stylish glasses, the HEAD PRO is designed for athletes who attach a great deal of importance to practicality and high-quality materials. With their useful features, these impressive glasses are suitable for all kinds of sports. The glasses are made of polycarbonate, they are mirrored and polarizing, and can be swapped for transparent, tinted or contrast-increasing glasses by means of a magnet clip mechanism. The sides can be individually adjusted in six steps, according to the shape of one’s face and the type of sport.
