"Who dares, wins" That is the Tyrolean athlete Stephanie Venier's motto and it applies to her perfectly. That's because Venier, who joined the HEAD World Cup Rebels team in 2021, loves skiing fast and competing in the speed disciplines. Her biggest success to date came in 2017 at the World Ski Championships in St. Moritz when she won the Silver medal in the Downhill. In 2019, she bagged her first World Cup victory in the same discipline. She finished second in the Downhill World Cup and ninth overall in the 2018/19 season. She is also among the world's best in the Super-G - having finished fifth overall in this discipline in the 2016/17 and 2019/20 seasons. At the 2013 Junior World Championships in Quebec, Venier won Gold in the Super-G and Silver in the Downhill. In her spare time she enjoys running and slack-lining, as well as shopping and cooking.
