After extensive trials and testing with the existing membranes, the development team at HEAD Sportswear came to the conclusion that while there are many good solutions out there, none 100% fulfill the specific requirements of HEAD Sportswear. With this challenge in mind, we at HEAD Sportswear precisely evaluated the existing solutions. Based on the skier’s requirements we developed our own membrane – the IAM Membrane (Intelligent Apparel Membrane).

As is tradition, the new season of the Alpine Ski World Cup opens on the 17^th and 18^th of October with the men's and women's Giant Slalom events in Sölden. Due to Corona, however, it will be an exceptional winter. A total of 39 men's and 35 women's events are scheduled, headlined by the World Championship in Cortina d'Ampezzo in February. The HEAD World Cup Rebels want to show right from the start that the path to victory can again only lead through them this season.

The new HEAD Racing Collection bears the signature of one of the greatest alpine skiing athletes of all time. Aksel Lund Svindal has been closely involved in the development of the new design from the very beginning. The result is a collection that reflects the Norwegian athlete's racing DNA: Trust, Purity & Momentum - three keywords that were particularly important to Aksel Lund Svindal when implementing HEAD's new Racing Collection.
