Biography

Making waves in both big air and slopestyle, Jesper has followed talented fellow Swedish skiers like Jon Olsson and Jacob Wester. He has earned two World Cup podiums in 2019 and 2020, one in Slopestyle and one in Big Air, but he’s been on the scene for years. He first drew serious attention for a wild double in April 2014 at Nine Knights, when he flipped over several features in a high consequence, creative jump. His Unrailistic slopestyle edits in 2015 and 2019 drew more attention when he added trampolines and swings into the snowpark. In Supervention 2 he skied an iconic rail loop after dedicating hundreds of hours of practice time to the feature. He has competed at the X Games for seven consecutive years, with a top result of second in Knuckle Huck and fourth in Slopestyle at Hafjell 2020. Jesper is also a three-time Olympian for Sweden, winning bronze in Freeski Slopestyle at Beijing 2022 after also competing in Sochi 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018. Beijing was the first Olympic Games where he also competed in Freeski Big Air, placing seventh. He is constantly thinking about new tricks and his main goal is to keep inspiring people to ski.
