Biography
Slalom champion also plays ice hockey and golf At the age of 20, Jonathan Nordbotten won the Norwegian Slalom Championship title. The Norwegian athlete celebrated his debut in the World Cup in 2011 in Beaver Creek, and by 2012 was already bagging his first World Cup points at the Night Race Slalom in Schladming. Nordbotten began his skiing career on cross-country skis. But his parents soon realised that he was born for alpine skiing. He also played football and golf as a kid, but soon decided to complete in alpine skiing. As a member of the Norwegian team, Nordbotten won the Bronze medal at the 2018 Olympics. In his spare time he is still a keen golfer and also plays ice hockey.
