Biography

"I fell in love with the speed right away" - Kajsa Vickhoff Lie started skiing at the age of ten, which is relatively late. And she says, "I fell in love with the speed right away". Now the Norwegian athlete enjoys her life on the World Cup circuit. And she is drawing more and more attention to herself with her results. Kajsa Vickhoff Lie celebrated her World Cup debut in January 2017 in the Downhill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. She bagged points for the first time in December 2017 in the Downhill event in Lake Louise. At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Davos she put in an impressive performance: Gold in Downhill and Super-G, Silver in the Team event. In the World Cup, Kajsa Vickhoff Lie finished in the top-ten three times in 2019. In the same year she was also Norwegian champion in Downhill and in the Combined event. In her spare time she loves water sports, tennis and good food.
