RADICAL TURNS 25: HEAD CELEBRATES ICONIC ANNIVERSARY WITH TWO ICONIC LIMITED EDITIONS

Tennis enthusiasts, get ready for a very special treat: HEAD celebrates the 25th anniversary of its legendary RADICAL racquet with not one but two special limited editions: in addition to the modern GRAPHENE TOUCH RADICAL 25 LTD recommended by US player Taylor Fritz, the RADICAL OS from 1993 is making a truly special retail comeback.

The celebratory RADICAL OS Ltd. release features the specifications and 18/19 string pattern from 25 years ago including its original bumblebee design that turned heads on many courts back in the day, including in 1994 when Andre Agassi became the second unseeded player ever to win the US Open. As part of the 25th anniversary, HEAD also releases 100 limited edition boxes which include the racquet, a special header card with the original SVC band dampener and HEAD Pro grip as well as a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by Andre Agassi himself.

The iconic bumblebee design inspired by the first ever RADICAL racquet is also making an appearance on the second anniversary release: the modern GRAPHENE TOUCH RADICAL 25 LTD. Based on the specifications of the GRAPHENE TOUCH RADICAL MP, the racquet features the innovative Graphene Touch technology for an incredible touch and a solid dampened feel, a dynamic 16/19 string pattern for enhanced playability and spin as well as increased balance for a higher swing weight and increased plow-through effect. With its truly unmistakable historic design, the racquet is the perfect choice for the versatile player who is not afraid to stand out and celebrate tennis history in style. The iconic black and yellow design also makes an appearance on the Radical Ldt. 12R Monstercombi, as well as the 6R Combi, for a perfectly matching court appearance.

The modern GRAPHENE TOUCH RADICAL 25 LTD and the historic RADICAL OS, both sensor-ready, are available at selected retailers and online on head.com as of September 20, 2018. The 100 limited boxes can only be purchased directly on head.com as long as supply lasts.
