Biography

Ryan Cochran-Siegle was born into the world of Olympic skiing. His mother Barbara Ann won the Gold medal in the Slalom at the 1972 Olympics in Sapporo. 50 years later, the son followed in his mother's footsteps. Ryan Cochran-Siegle won the Silver medal in Super-G at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. In the World Cup, the US athlete from Vermont has already stood on the top of the podium: in the Super-G in Bormio in December 2020. At the Junior World Championships in Roccaraso in 2012, he won Gold in the Downhill and Combined event. Ryan Cochran-Siegle also works in his family's maple syrup business, "Cochran's Slopeside Syrup." His hobbies include mountain biking, photography, soccer, American football, baseball and hiking.
