HEAD World Cup Rebel wins season opening World Cup Giant Slalom in Soelden OCTOBER 22ND, 2016 Lara Gut gave the HEAD World Cup Rebels a perfect start to the new season as she won the opening race of the 2016 - 2017 World Cup in Soelden. A first run lead was held onto in the second run to finish ahead of Mikaela Shiffrin and young Italian Marta Bassino with Stephanie Brunner producing her best World Cup form to date in taking fourth place overall.

Vonn dominates in Zauchensee

Two races over the weekend and two wins for HEAD World Cup Rebel Lindsey Vonn. Win number 26 in Super G, further extending her record for most wins in the discipline was emphatic. Lara Gut attacked all the way down but a small mistake in the run in saw her take second place with Connie Huetter taking third.
