Enrique Goenaga

From a young age, Enrique Goenaga was drawn to racquet sports, following in the footsteps of his parents and accompanying them to tournaments. Although he never competed formally in tennis, a few lessons helped him develop skills that he would later apply to padel. He chose padel for its accessibility and his lifelong passion for racquets and the court.

Enrique currently resides in Madrid, where he trains with Quique Cataldo and Maxi Gabriel. He also travels occasionally to Valladolid to refine his technique at Gustavo Pratto’s Academy, where he trained for several years. In addition to his commitment to padel, Enrique is pursuing a degree in Mathematics and enjoys reading and going to the movies in his free time, activities that help him relax and recharge.

His achievements reflect a steady rise in the sport: he was a Spanish Champion in junior categories and has reached multiple quarterfinals in Premier Padel professional tournaments. In the short term, his goal is to climb the rankings and establish himself among the top players, aiming for a spot in the Top 30. Enrique Goenaga endorses HEAD gear from head to toe and promotes the Extreme Pro racquet, which he sees as a key part of his game.
