HEAD RENEWS CONTRACT WITH THE PORTUGUESE PADEL FEDERATION (FPP), AS ITS OFFICIAL BALL, AND EXTENDS AGREEMENT AS ITS OFFICIAL PADEL RACQUET

Since 2014, the Austrian brand has partnered with the FPP as its official ball with its flagship: the HEAD Padel Pro S

It is an honour to announce that HEAD has renewed its agreement with the Portuguese Padel Federation to continue being its official ball. By doing so and as covered in the contract, all the FPP’s absolute circuit and junior circuit championships will continue to be played with the official HEAD Padel Pro S ball.

Although it is a very well-known product, we would like to remind everyone that the HEAD Paddle Pro S is a premium model chosen by players themselves, with great control and long-lasting, ideal for the most discerning padel players. And it is not only trusted by the above-mentioned Portuguese Padel Federation, but also by the Spanish and Andorran Federations, as well as the federations of 13 Spanish autonomous communities.

Ricky Brigolle, Raquet Sports Category Manager at HEAD Spain, is excited by the news at hand: “We’re very happy and grateful to renew, once again, our contract as the FPP’s official ball. As the years go by, our relationship with this institution is strengthening, and thanks to that HEAD’s visibility is increasing, which is always a great help. We have also signed a new agreement as the Federation’s official padel racquet, which helps us to continue bringing padel to all corners of Portugal”.

In addition to exclusively using HEAD Padel Pro S balls in all its competitions, the prestigious Portuguese Padel Federation has also given the firm the status of official sponsor and has been promoting our brand through its channels, communications and events for ten years. This is an agreement that started in 2014 and remains alive and well.

Here at the Portuguese Padel Federation, we express our satisfaction at being able to partner with a brand of global dimensions, and to extend a connection that goes back to the beginning of our work as the Portuguese Padel Federation”, says Ricardo da Silva Oliveira, president of the FPP, who appreciates “the support and trust that HEAD, a fundamental partner on our journey, has always provided, greatly supporting the development of padel in Portugal”.

For HEAD, it is also a huge privilege to have the support of the Portuguese Padel Federation and we hope that our paths run parallel for a long time to come.
