Biography
The high-speed lawyer from Grüningen - "It's always important to have a goal in mind and know what you're working for," and Gilles Roulin knows what he's talking about. The Swiss athlete is not only extremely determined on skis. He has also just completed his bachelor's degree in law, which he studied as a distance learning course alongside his skiing career. He describes himself as "consistent, and skilled in the technical disciplines", and in 2017 won the first European Cup Downhill race to be held on the Streif run. Gilles Roulin made his World Cup debut in 2017 at the Downhill event in Kvitfjell. Two top-ten finishes in the World Cup are already in the bag. In 2017 he only just missed the podium, finishing in fourth place in the Downhill in Val Gardena. In his spare time he likes to read and cook.
