Biography
The Slalom specialist loves his local mountain in Zagreb. Matej Vidovic started skiing at the age of four. He got to really enjoy this sport, especially when he started competing against others in races. Matej Vidovic celebrated his World Cup debut in January 2012 at his home Slalom event on the Sljeme run in Zagreb. It was also on his local mountain that the Croatian athlete achieved his best World Cup result so far, finishing 15th in the Slalom in 2019. In the 2017/18 season Matej Vidovic won the overall Slalom ranking in the European Cup. He competed in the 2014 Olympic Games and in five world championships. His hobbies are tennis, cycling and chess.
