A great start to the World Cup in Slalom for Lena Dürr and the HEAD Worldcup Rebels. The German athlete raced to her first World Cup podium in the Slalom on Saturday in Levi, finishing in third place - the first podium finish in this discipline for the German women ski racers in eight years. Anna Swenn-Larsson celebrated a brilliant comeback in fifth place. On Sunday Lena Dürr followed up with another podium in the second Slalom event in Levi, finishing third.

Die Deutsche fuhr am Samstag in Levi als Dritte zu ihrem ersten Weltcup-Podium im Slalom – der erste Podestplatz in dieser Disziplin für die deutschen Damen seit acht Jahren. Anna Swenn-Larsson feierte als Fünfte ein fulminantes Comeback. Am Sonntag legte Lena Dürr beim zweiten Levi-Slalom mit Platz drei ein weiteres Podium nach.

Racing to third place in the parallel event in Lech/Zürs, Atle Lie McGrath makes an impressive return to form on Sunday. After finishing second in Alta Badia last season, his first World Cup podium finish, the 21-year-old Norwegian athlete was forced to end his season prematurely in January due to a ligament injury.

Lara Gut-Behrami skied seamlessly from one great season to the next at the opening event of the 2021/22 World Cup in Sölden. The Swiss athlete finished second in the Giant Slalom on the Rettenbach Glacier in Tyrol on Saturday, missing victory by just 14 hundredths of a second. In the men's Giant Slalom on Sunday, winner of the discipline last season - Alexis Pinturault - finished in fifth place.

Seven World Championship Gold medals, one overall Crystal Globe and four discipline Crystal Globes as well as 19 World Cup victories - with this impressive tally from last season, the HEAD Worldcup Rebels start the next World Cup year on October 23 and 24 in Sölden. This season, the Rebels are again looking to confirm their status as the best ski team in the world. The highlight of the season is the Olympic Games, which will be held in Beijing from February 4 to 20.

With newcomers Stefan Luitz, Stephanie Venier, Tanguy Nef, Ryan Cochran-Siegle and Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen, the HEAD Worldcup Rebels enter the 2021/22 season stronger than ever. HEAD team colleagues Ted Ligety, Bernadette Schild, Manuel Osborne-Paradis, Jonathan Nordbotten and Alice McKennis retire from ski racing.

Olympic champion, triple World Champion, double overall World Cup winner - Anna Veith has achieved all of her great successes together with HEAD. Beyond the end of her racing career, the Austrian athlete will continue her long-standing partnership with the world's most successful ski brand at least until 2024 - as brand and sportswear ambassador, assisting in the development of new products as well as on projects with upcoming HEAD stars.

The finals in Lenzerheide saw one of the most successful seasons in HEAD's history draw to a close. With seven World Championship Gold medals, one overall World Cup Crystal Globe and four World Cup discipline Crystal Globes, as well as 19 World Cup victories, the HEAD World Cup Rebels delivered a unique class of performance. As confirmed by the FIS brand ranking - they are the best ski team in the world.

Alexis Pinturault gave himself two very special presents for his 30th birthday on Saturday. Following his victory in the final Giant Slalom in Lenzerheide, the HEAD World Cup Rebel secured not only the World Cup in this discipline, but also the Crystal Globe as the overall winner of the World Cup for the first time in his career.

All the speed events - both the Downhill competitions on Wednesday and the Super-G races on Thursday - had to be cancelled at the final of the World Cup in Lenzerheide due to the weather conditions. This means that in the speed disciplines, not only all four World Championship titles go to the HEAD World Cup Rebels, but also three of the four World Cup Crystal Globes: Beat Feuz (Downhill), Lara Gut-Behrami (Super-G) and Vincent Kriechmayr (Super-G).

One week after her third place in the Slalom in Jasna, Wendy Holdener again made the podium in the second Slalom event in Aare on Saturday. The Swiss athlete finished in third place to celebrate her 27th podium finish in this discipline.

The HEAD World Cup Rebels demonstrated their world-class form in style in Saalbach-Hinterglemm: In the Downhill event on Saturday Vincent Kriechmayr, Beat Feuz, and Matthias Mayer celebrated an awesome triple victory for the HEAD team. In the Super-G on Sunday, Vincent Kriechmayr again raced to the podium in third place. Wendy Holdener finished third in the Slalom in Jasna on Saturday, her second podium finish of the season.

Lara Gut-Behrami continues her run of success following the World Championships. The double World Champion won both Downhill races on Friday and Saturday in Val di Fassa to celebrate her first two victories in the discipline this season. On Sunday she finished in second place to secure the Crystal Globe in the Super-G this season. The Swiss athlete also took the overall lead in the World Cup this weekend. And double World Champion Mathieu Faivre confirmed his world-leading status with a victory and a second place in the Giant Slalom events in Bansko.

The HEAD World Cup Rebels caused a sensation at the Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina, where they won seven of the twelve individual Gold medals - in all four speed discipline events, in both Giant Slaloms and in the men's Parallel event. The HEAD team also produced three double World Champions: Lara Gut-Behrami, Mathieu Faivre and Vincent Kriechmayr. A total of twelve medals went to the best ski brand at the World Championships.

The HEAD World Cup Rebels continue to cause a sensation at the World Championships in Cortina: The HEAD team won all four Gold medals in the speed disciplines, a Gold in the Parallel event and both Gold medals in the Giant Slalom with Lara Gut-Behrami and Mathieu Faivre. That puts the two HEAD team stars in the footsteps of one of the greatest ski athletes of all time:  Ted Ligety - aka Mr Giant Slalom - who crossed the finishing line in his unique career during the World Championships.

In 2017 Mathieu Faivre won Gold in the Team event at the World Championships in St. Moritz. In Cortina the French athlete celebrated his first individual Gold medal in the Parallel Slalom on Tuesday, the début appearance of this format at a World Championship. His compatriot Alexis Pinturault won his second medal in Cortina by following up Bronze in the Super-G with Silver in the Combined event on Monday. In the Team event on Wednesday, Norway bagged Gold with HEAD World Cup Rebel Fabian Wilkens Solheim.

The HEAD World Cup Rebels dominate the speed events at the World Championships in Cortina. Gold medals in the Super-G by Lara Gut-Behrami and Vincent Kriechmayr are followed by two more Golds in the Downhill competitions. Vincent Kriechmayr is king of the speed events in the World Cup, bagging his second victory in Cortina on Sunday in the Downhill. The fastest women athlete in Cortina is Corinne Suter, winning her first Gold medal at a World Championship on Saturday in the Downhill and Silver in the Super-G.

World Championship Gold. Finishing just behind the Swiss athlete, her compatriot and HEAD team-mate Corinne Suter secured Silver. A few hours later Vincent Kriechmayr followed up with Gold in the men's Super-G. Bronze went to Alexis Pinturault.

The last two races before the World Championships in Cortina were held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen this weekend. Austria's speed rebels Vincent Kriechmayr and Matthias Mayer sealed a HEAD double victory in the Super-G on Saturday. In the Downhill on Friday, two HEAD World Cup Rebels also raced to podium finishes with Beat Feuz in second place and Matthias Mayer third.

An impressive result for the HEAD World Cup Rebels in the first Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Saturday. The third consecutive victory for Lara Gut-Behrami in this discipline, leading her HEAD colleagues Kajsa Vickhoff Lie from Norway and Marie-Michele Gagnon from Canada. In the second Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which was postponed until Monday, Lara Gut-Behrami immediately followed up with yet another win.

Yet another headliner performance by Lara Gut-Behrami! The HEAD athlete finished second in the Giant Slalom in Kronplatz, finishing among the top three in three different disciplines within four days. In the men's Night Slalom in Schladming Alexis Pinturault extended his overall lead in the World Cup finishing in third place.

The HEAD World Cup Rebels dominated the action on the Streif in Kitzbühel: In a spectacular Downhill event on Friday, the HEAD World Cup Rebels celebrated a double victory with Beat Feuz and Matthias Mayer. For Feuz it was his first victory in a Hahnenkamm Downhill in his career following four finishes in second place. That result was topped in the second Downhill race on Sunday with triple success by Beat Feuz, Johan Clarey and Matthias Mayer. And then it was Vincent Kriechmayr winning the Super-G on Monday who rounded off a flawless HEAD weekend in Kitzbühel. On top of that, Lara Gut-Behrami won the Super-G in Crans Montana on Sunday with a lead of almost one second.

Alexis Pinturault is back on the podium in the Slalom as well. Following his Giant Slalom fest in Adelboden last weekend, the French athlete finished third in the Slalom in Flachau on Sunday to bag his first podium finish in this discipline this season.

First podium finish for Wendy Holdener this season. The Swiss athlete finished third in the Night Slalom in Flachau on Tuesday. It was the 27-year-old's 25th podium finish in the Slalom. Camille Rast finishing in sixth place was also impressive. Wendy Holdener's compatriot scored her first World Cup points in the Slalom with bib number 57.
