First podium finish for Wendy Holdener this season. The Swiss athlete finished third in the Night Slalom in Flachau on Tuesday. It was the 27-year-old's 25th podium finish in the Slalom. Camille Rast finishing in sixth place was also impressive. Wendy Holdener's compatriot scored her first World Cup points in the Slalom with bib number 57.

The Giant Slalom doesn't get much better than this. Alexis Pinturault won both races on Friday and Saturday in impressive style on the Chuenisbärgli run in Adelboden. He clocked the fastest time three times and the second-fastest once. In St Anton, Lara Gut-Behrami bagged her first Super-G win since January 2018, and Corinne Suter finished third.

A sensational end to the year for the HEAD World Cup Rebels in the Downhill in Bormio: Matthias Mayer and Vincent Kriechmayr secured a double victory in the last race of 2020 on the challenging Stelvio run on Wednesday. The day before Kriechmayr finished second in the Super-G in Bormio, his first podium finish of the season.

A sensational result for the HEAD World Cup Rebels in the Giant Slalom in Alta Badia on Sunday: Alexis Pinturault won ahead of Atle Lie McGrath, who just turned 20, and Justin Murisier. On Friday the women speed discipline athletes also started the new season with the Downhill in Val d'Isere. Corinne Suter, who won the Crystal Globe in Downhill and Super-G in 2020, continued her success from last season and raced to victory. The Swiss athlete finished second in the second Downhill on Saturday in Val d'Isere and was second again in the Super-G on Sunday.
