HEAD is proud to announce the signing of a multi-year license agreement with Garsport Srl for outdoor and trekking footwear using the licensed trademark “SAN MARCO”.
Garsport will be supported in this great challenge by an external team of business specialists, with great experience and knowledge in the trekking and outdoor market, who will work in conjunction with the company for the product development, but also on marketing topics. This will allow the brand San Marco to be re-launched successfully into the market.
San Marco has been for many years, especially in the 90s, one of the leading brands for hiking and trekking footwear, and the iconic Swing model has signed a very important mark in the history of hiking footwear research and development.
The relaunch of the San Marco footwear program will be initially involving the Italian market, and then step by step will be covering more other European markets. First products will be expected to be in the market for fall/ winter 2019 season, while the new 2020 programs and developments have been already presented at the Outdoor by ISPO show in Munich which took place from June 30 to July 3.
Founded in 1972 by the family Garbuio, the company started its business with OEM manufacturing for cold weather boots and after ski boots. After the decades, thanks to the experience and the continuous investments in design, research and development, the company has structured its business with other types of production, becoming one of the most renewed companies in Montebelluna’s district for the OEM manufacturing of trekking/outdoor and safety footwear, for many of the leading brands of these markets. Around 10 years ago, with the great knowledge background gained through the years, the company launched the first collections branded Garsport, for trekking and safety, and now each of the products range is counting on a pretty wide range of products, complete in terms of technical solutions and end user’s needs.
The quality of the products and the attention on each single production process have made Garsport able to accept and launch another important challenge for the company, with the subscription of the license agreement with HEAD for San Marco trademark.
