Can you find a ski that’s forgiving enough to cruise, yet strong enough when you want to charge harder? Does versatility have to mean compromise?

With new Discovery, there is no compromise. It's one platform that adapts to how hard, and where you choose to ski. DISCOVERY launches in 2026 at selected retailers and on HEAD.com.

DIscovery is a completely new all-mountain concept built around a simple idea, the ski should react and adapt with you during the turn. Ski it lightly and it stays smooth, predictable and easy to control. Load it up, drive the shovels, pressure the edges and it comes alive, responding with grip, energy and precision. The harder you ski, the more athletic Discovery becomes.

At the heart of this responsiveness is Progressive Flex. This means the ski isn't locked into a single personality. At moderate speeds and lower edge angles, Discovery feels calm and intuitive. This is perfect for long days, mixed conditions and technical terrain. Start pushing faster, bending the ski deeper into the snow, and it stiffens naturally underfoot, giving you stronger edge hold, better rebound and a far more aggressive feel through the arc.

The ability to adapt comes from two elements working together. The first is Auxetic technology, a structural design that firms up as it’s flexed. Instead of collapsing under pressure, the ski’s internal structure tightens and reinforces itself, translating your input directly into edge grip and stability.

The second element is Superframe construction. This is a fully wrapped fibreglass structure that distributes pressure evenly along the ski, improving torsional strength and holding the ski structure together when the snow gets chopped up or if you increase speed.
The result isn’t a ski that forces you to ski harder - but one that rewards you when you do. Neat, eh? Discovery doesn’t demand constant aggression, it simply meets you where you are, whether that’s relaxed freeriding, technical carving, or driving hard through variable snow.

Attention to detail continues underfoot. Discovery skis use HEAD’s Better Balance PR binding plate, which maintains a consistent forward stance regardless of boot size. Instead of subtly changing your position depending on sole length, the ramp angle stays constant. On snow, that translates to easier turn initiation, better balance at speed, and more reliable power transfer. This becomes especially noticeable when conditions or terrain change rapidly.
Safety and usability haven’t been forgotten either. The new PROTECTOR EVO binding improves release characteristics while remaining easier to step into and adjust. It’s lighter, cleaner in design, and more confidence-inspiring for skiers who want performance without unnecessary complication.

DISCOVERY comes in a broad range. Wider models like the 86 Pro and 82 Pro lean toward off-piste confidence and all-day versatility, while narrower options such as the 74 and 70 focus on precision, progression and carving performance. Across Pro and Sport constructions, you'll experience predictable handling, progressive power, and a ski that grows with your ambition.
DISCOVERY doesn't lock you into one skiing style. It gives you a platform that actively responds, every time you push a little harder.
