Carmen Goenaga

HEAD Pro Players may play with different racquets from the model shown.

Carmen Goenaga began competing in federated padel tournaments at the age of 10. For a time, she balanced both basketball and padel, but the passion for the sport shared by her family and her brother Enrique led her to focus exclusively on padel.

During her junior career, Carmen became both a Spanish and World Champion. On the World Padel Tour (WPT), her most notable achievement to date is reaching the final of the WPT Challenger Albacete in 2021. She also made it into a WPT main draw at just 14 years old.

Carmen trains daily at Gustavo Pratto’s Academy in Valladolid, and, living in Salamanca, occasionally trains with Borja Millán. She completes her physical conditioning in Salamanca, allowing her to maintain a balance between technical skill and athletic preparation. Her dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport make her a player to watch on both the national and international circuits.

Carmen endorses the HEAD Speed Motion racquet as a key tool for her aggressive, fast-paced game. She aims to continue climbing the rankings, reach the Top 16, and, in the near future, compete in a Master Final.
