Curro Cabeza

HEAD Pro Players may play with different racquets from the model shown.

Padel has always been a part of Curro Cabeza’s life. His maternal grandfather was one of the first people to play the sport in his city, and the passion for padel runs in both sides of his family. Curro picked up a racquet practically before he could walk and began taking lessons at the age of four.

From a young age, it was clear that padel was his passion. He would fall asleep each night watching matches or listening to his mother tell stories related to the sport. After becoming a Spanish Champion in the under-10 category, he briefly tried tennis, achieving good results, but quickly realized that padel was where his true enjoyment lay.

Curro currently follows a structured and intensive training routine while balancing his studies. He is completing his second year of high school through distance learning, aims to obtain his driver’s license, and takes conversation classes to improve his English. In his free time, he enjoys spending moments with family and friends, who have always been a central part of his life.

Among his most notable achievements are winning the Junior World Championship and the Premier Padel Gijón, milestones that mark his promising early career. In the near term, his goals are to continue improving physically, climb the rankings, and above all, keep enjoying the game. Curro competes fully equipped in HEAD gear and endorses the Extreme Pro racquet.
