Mar Munera, from Canals (Valencia), discovered padel thanks to her father, a coach and passionate player. At just four years old, while her father and brother played, she picked up a racquet for the first time and hasn’t put it down since. From an early age, she has been connected to Club de Padel ADC de l’Alcúdia de Crespins, her lifelong club, where she continues to train when not at Cheste.

She currently balances her studies with a sports specialization program at the University of Cheste, part of the Valencian Padel Federation, which allows her to train daily. Her support team includes her father and technical staff, alongside federation coaches who guide her development.

Despite her youth, Mar already has an impressive record: runner-up in the Spanish Championship in 2022, Spanish Champion in 2024 and 2025, European Champion with Spain’s national team in Budapest in 2024, and Valencian regional champion every year from 2021 to 2025. She is also the reigning World Champion with Spain.

Beyond titles, Mar values the experiences and lessons she has gained along the way. With a mature and focused mindset, she pursues her dream of becoming a professional player, while keeping in mind her father’s advice: her true goal is always to reach the best version of herself, both on and off the court.

Mar competes fully equipped in HEAD gear and recommends the Speed Motion racquet, a lightweight and versatile choice. Her talent and dedication already mark her as one of the brightest prospects in Spanish padel.
