Paula Josemaría

HEAD Pro Players may play with different racquets from the model shown.

Paula Josemaría, originally from Moraleja (Cáceres, Spain), began competing in tennis at a very young age. Her powerful and precise left-handed shots quickly set her apart, earning her regional championship titles in her home region of Extremadura. At 17, she discovered padel and, in just a short time, became the regional champion in that sport as well.

Recognizing her natural talent on the court, Paula made her World Padel Tour debut in 2017, entering the qualifying rounds and earning a place in the main draw at the San Fernando Open. Her first professional title came in 2019, when she won the Madrid Master. That same year, she was crowned Spanish Champion, European Champion, and was named the World Padel Tour’s Breakthrough Player of the Year.

Since 2021, Paula has formed a highly successful partnership with fellow HEAD athlete Ariana Sánchez, and their consistent, dynamic style of play has taken them to the world No. 1 ranking. As of 2025, they have achieved an impressive total of 41 titles together, establishing themselves as one of the most successful duos in women’s padel history.

Off the court, Paula enjoys hiking, cycling, and spending time with family and friends. These activities allow her to unwind from the demands of the tour and maintain a healthy balance between her professional and personal life.

Fully equipped with HEAD gear, Paula recommends the Extreme Motion racquet. Known for her ability to open up the court with precision and power, her left-handed play brings flair and excitement to every match, making her one of the most dynamic players on the tour.
