Mar Munera - focused, determined and ready for the next challenge.
Spanish padel boasts a group of young talents who are shining in both national and international competitions. Each has a unique story, yet they share something in common: a passion for the sport and the dedication to reach the elite level. From Valencia to Jaén, Zaragoza, and Santander, these seven HEAD players are proof that the future of padel is in good hands.

Martina Vera in full flow on the padel court.
Mar Munera, from Canals (Valencia), discovered padel at four years old thanks to her father and brother, and she hasn’t stopped training since. Her impressive record includes Spanish and European championships, as well as a World Championship title with Spain. Mar proves that consistency is key: “My real goal is to reach my best version, both on and off the court,” she says, trusting the HEAD Speed Motion, a lightweight and versatile racquet that combines power and control.
Martina Vera, from Zaragoza, started playing at five, initially splitting her time between tennis and padel before fully committing to the latter. As she puts it: “I can’t go a day without training—I enjoy it to the fullest and can’t imagine a future without a racquet in my hands.” Her achievements include Spanish, European, and World titles in doubles and team events, as well as the FIP Bronze Elche championship. With HEAD’s Extreme Motion, Martina maximizes power in her shots without losing precision.

Juan Zamora 'Coquito' chasing every ball with passion.
Currito Cabeza has padel in his blood. He began training at just four, following a family tradition, and today he can boast of being the youngest player to win a Premier Padel tournament (P2 Gijón 2025), a two-time Spanish champion, World champion, and double World and European champion with the national team. His padel racquet for now, the HEAD Extreme Pro, allows him to combine precision and power in every shot. “Enjoying myself on the court is what motivates me the most,” he says—and at HEAD, we trust that won’t change.
Another standout is Juan Zamora, known as ‘Coquito,’ an Andalusian talent who started competing very young, inspired by his brothers and his father, a coach. With an impressive record—three-time junior World champion, two-time European champion in the youth category, and four-time Spanish champion—Coquito continues to grow on the circuit. He relies on the HEAD Extreme Motion with Auxetic technology, giving him the power and feel needed for every challenge: “My family has always been my biggest support; thanks to them, I can dream big,” he says enthusiastically.

Curro Cabeza ready to strike on the padel court.
From Jaén comes Alejandro Calvo Pérez, born in 2007, with padel in his heart since age seven. He trains in Madrid at the CEPAC academy and also works with coaches in Málaga. “Padel has always been my passion; training and competing push me to grow every day,” says this rising star. Alejandro was the 2023 World Champion and 2024 European Champion with the Spanish national team, and his goal is to establish himself on the Premier Padel circuit. He currently endorses the HEAD Speed Pro, designed to balance control and power.
Daniela started padel in 2023, influenced by her brother, after a solid background in tennis. She quickly adapted to the new sport and now trains at M3 Padel Academy with Antonio Martín Sequeira. Already a Spanish and World Champion with the national team, Daniela endorses the HEAD Extreme Pro to develop speed and control in every shot. She says enthusiastically: “I want to keep improving and compete at higher and higher levels, aiming for the top 10 and beyond; this is just the beginning.”
Joining this emerging talent is Claudia Ordóñez, who began playing at age 10 through a school activity and has since focused her life on padel. Thanks to training with Adrián Espinosa, Severino Iezzi, and Juan Cabrera, she reached the Round of 16 at Premier Padel New Giza P2 and is now aiming for the Top 100 worldwide. The HEAD Extreme Pro provides her with the perfect balance of precision and power, complementing her aggressive playing style. As she says: “Enjoying the process and learning every day is what drives me most; feeling that I’m improving is my biggest motivation.”
These seven players represent the perfect mix of talent, discipline, and passion. From the Speed Motion and Extreme Motion to the Speed Pro and Extreme Pro racquets, each relies on HEAD equipment designed to enhance their game and support them on the path to the elite. With already impressive records and unwavering motivation, Mar, Martina, Curro, Coquito, Alejandro, Daniela, and Claudia are undoubtedly the rising stars shaping the future of Spanish padel.
