HEAD | TYROLIA join forces with the Freeride World Tour

At HEAD, the mountains are where our passion begins. They’re the place where boundaries disappear, where every turn is a choice, and where freedom meets challenge. That’s why we’re so excited to join forces with the Freeride World Tour (FWT) as Official Supplier from 2026 through 2028, together with our binding brand TYROLIA.

Freeriding isn’t about following a set track—it’s about creativity, courage, and flow. Riders stand at the top of an untouched face with nothing but their instincts, their imagination, and the trust they place in their gear. That spirit is what makes the Freeride World Tour the most inspiring stage in skiing, and it’s what makes this partnership so special for us.

Over the next three years, we’ll be there at every Pro event, supporting not just the athletes but also the teams who make freeride competitions possible. From safety crews to event staff, everyone faces the same wild conditions as the riders. By equipping them with HEAD skis, boots, poles, and TYROLIA bindings, we’ll make sure they have the same reliable tools to perform their best in the mountains.

This journey will also include the Junior and Qualifier series, where tomorrow’s freeride legends are already shaping their style, and the first-ever FIS Freeride World Championships in Andorra in 2026. Being part of this historic step for the sport underlines our commitment not only to the present but to the future of freeriding.

Our gear is already trusted by some of the most exciting names on the Tour. Riders like Jenna Keller, Abel Moga, Lena Kohler, and Carl Regnér Eriksson bring our skis to life in their own unique ways. Past champions such as Hedvig Wessel and Jess Hotter have also proven that HEAD equipment can perform at the very top. Every design we create is inspired by athletes like them—gear that balances power with versatility, backed by the dependable safety of TYROLIA bindings.

Most of all, this partnership is about celebrating a community. Freeride is more than a competition—it’s a way of life defined by respect for the mountains and the joy of expression on snow. About the FWT

FWT Management SA is based in Verbier, Switzerland, and has been organizing premier sports events globally in mountain resorts since 1996.

The company founded the Xtreme Verbier, an iconic event in freeride skiing and nowboarding and, in 2008, it turned this single competition into a prestigious series of worldwide events, called the Freeride World Tour (FWT). The company has since grown to include multiple competition series that fall under the FWT brand – including FWT Challenger, FWT Qualifier and FWT Junior – with events across all formats taking place in Europe, North America, South America and Oceania.
