"Both Camille Rast and Emma Aicher put in an impressive performance. Camille is skiing super consistently. Emma won the Downhill on Saturday and is third in the Slalom today, which just shows what an amazing all-rounder she is," said HEAD Racing Director Rainer Salzgeber. "We had ten athletes competing on the second run. Despite two top athletes, Lena Dürr and Sara Hector, dropping out, we still have two athletes on the podium, which demonstrates the strength and class of our team. Everything is working well for everybody. There's nothing holding anyone back, so it’s all systems go."

"With ups and downs, things are steadily improving"

Camille Rast started the second run in second place, a position she maintained in the final standings. Overall, this is the 26-year-old Swiss athlete's fifth World Cup podium in the Slalom. "It wasn't easy on the second run. It was pretty warm, and I had some trouble at the top of the run. I wanted to keep pushing, and was delighted to catch sight of the green as I crossed the finish line. With my hip injury, preparation work has not been easy. But with ups and downs, things are steadily improving. I am very satisfied to be standing on the podium today," explained Camille Rast at the finish.

"Success definitely gives you more confidence"

Emma Aicher's third place yet again demonstrates her strength in multiple disciplines. On Saturday, the 22-year-old German athlete stood on top of the podium having won the Downhill in St. Moritz, and now she wins her second podium of the season in the Slalom. "I am satisfied with the way I am skiing overall. Both in the Downhill as well as in the Slalom. I am not even sure myself why things are going so well. Success definitely gives you more confidence," says Emma Aicher.

Five HEAD World Cup Rebels in the top ten

With Anna Swenn-Larsson from Sweden in sixth place, Wendy Holdener from Switzerland seventh, and Dzenifera Germane from Latvia tenth, a total of five HEAD World Cup Rebels landed in the top ten. World Cup points were also picked up by Cornelia Öhlund from Sweden in eleventh place, and Eliane Christen from Switzerland, who finished 19th.
