Biography
Franjo von Allmen achieved something in the World Cup in January 2024 that few have managed before him: the Swiss athlete podiumed in third place for the first time in the Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and it was only his twelfth World Cup race. As a result, he made a name for himself this season as a shooting star in the speed disciplines. His success story began at a young age in Simmental, Switzerland. Since then, Franjo von Allmen has been dedicated to skiing. "It's the strong emotions that I can't get enough of in ski racing," explains the World Cup speed ace. His apprenticeship as a carpenter gives him the necessary grounding, and it's a job that he still enjoys from time to time. Franjo von Allmen was already in the limelight at the 2022 Junior World Championships in Panorama. In Canada, he won Silver medals in the Downhill, Super-G and Combined event. The Swiss athlete has been a true HEAD World Cup Rebel since competing as a junior, and things are looking good for future success. Franjo von Allmen has extended his cooperation with HEAD and now has the support of Sepp Kuppelwieser, the service man who worked together with Beat Feuz.
