Biography
Hedvig is a professional freeride skier and two-time Olympic mogul athlete from Oslo, Norway. After several years of mogul World Cups and World Ski Championships around the globe, she decided to transition to freeride skiing. A disciplined training schedule comes naturally to her and years of technical aerial flips make her comfortable in the air with the core strength to stomp huge tricks effortlessly. Fiercely competitive, Hedvig plays to win and her legendary backflips are often the catalyst for overall progression at competitions. She has been competing on the Freeride World Tour since 2018 and made it to the podium many times, including three silver medals at Baqueira Beret, Fieberbrunn and Xtreme Verbier 2022. Her YouTube series, Hedvig’s Way, follows her dream of becoming FWT champion and in 2021 she was featured in The Stomping Grounds by MSP Films, skiing Norway’s Lyngen Alps. Alongside her rigorous training regime, Hedvig has completed a degree in business administration and spends the summers climbing, surfing and sailing.
