Biography

"Live your dreams!" Alexis Pinturault is a real all-rounder. He already has 29 World Cup victories to his credit, in Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G, and of course in Combined. In this last discipline the French athlete has already won the overall World Cup six times. In addition, he has two World Championship Gold medals and five more medals from the Olympic Games and the World Championships. Alexis, has a French father and a Norwegian mother. He first took to the slopes near the family hotel Annapurna in Courchevel. As a kid, Alexis, took part in many sports, including tennis, fencing, wakeboarding, ice hockey and martial arts. After 15 years of skiing and playing football, in 2006 he decided to make his career purely on the slopes. His motto is, "Live your dreams!", which he firmly believes he’s now doing together with his wife Romane, whom he married in 2017.
