No fewer than three play-testers “fell in love” with the upgraded GRAVITY series the first time they hit with one of the models. “A special racquet,” noted one expert, who said of the glossy new design for this range: “This might be the most beautiful paint job I’ve ever seen in my life.” Reviewers had even more praise for the GRAVITY 2025 series, which provides the high level of control and touch that allows aggressive next generation players to dominate with heavy shots from the back of the court, along with soft, outrageous dropshots.
The racquets have been upgraded with Auxetic 2.0 technology, which offers a plush impact feel and greater stability. Together with the enormous sweetspot - the GRAVITY has a distinctive, rounded head shape – that technology ensures a better connection to the ball, boosting players’ confidence as they swing. The range includes the new TOUR model, the first GRAVITY racquet with a 98 in² head size, which is for advanced players wanting a high level of control and touch. Endorsed by Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev, the GRAVITY racquets have a new, glossy and flashy design that will add to your style on the court.
“My goodness, the feel is amazing on this racquet,” the reviewer said of the HEAD GRAVITY PRO 2025, which he called “the best control racquet right now”. “Every time I play with this thing, it’s really a cathartic experience for me. It provides some of the most amazing ball feel you can find right now and that’s because it has quite a classic feel, especially compared to a lot of the modern racquets these days. It’s soft and has a super classic construction and not too much technology intruding on the feel. That means you’re extremely connected to the ball.”
Playing with the HEAD GRAVITY PRO 2025, you will experience “a beautiful sensation”. “One of the unique things about tennis is the beautiful sensation when you make contact with the ball. You don’t really get that with other sports. With racquets like this, it’s just a little bit better, making the beautiful part of tennis more fun,” he said.
You can also generate plenty of power. “When you get the racquet moving quickly, there’s a lot behind the ball. There were some rallies with this racquet when I was just sat behind the baseline, rocketing the ball off the stringbed by getting that full body rotation and ploughing through it with tonnes of racquet head speed. The feedback, control and power I was getting when doing that was absolutely phenomenal and it really proved that if you’re a good player who is properly set up for every shot, you can generate tonnes of power,” the reviewer said.
“Every time I play with the GRAVITY PRO, I think, ‘This racquet is 100 per cent made for the pro tour…’ But you don’t have to be a pro to enjoy this racquet, especially if you like playing tennis for the feel of it. This is one of those high dopamine control racquets that brings me back to the feel we had before all this modern tech and I love that… It’s really fun to use. This is just such a special racquet for the modern game.”
The reviewer adored the new design. “This might be the most beautiful paint job I’ve ever seen in my life,” he said. “I feel like we have been waiting for years for brands to make something this good. It’s absolutely stunning. It’s glossy, it’s understated and has that cool modern element to it. The blue is color-shifting. It pops a lot more in some lights than others. Honestly, I can’t think of any racquet in the last five years that looks this good.”
Three of the reviewers for Tennis Warehouse said they “fell in love” with the HEAD GRAVITY TOUR 2025 when first hitting with this racquet. “A plush and comfortable feel and loaded with control. I love this racquet,” said one play-tester while another commented: “It was an extremely rewarding experience. I really liked how this handled with the forehand. A versatile frame that obeyed my every command. On serve, this was a dream. On return, I enjoyed how easily I was able to redirect and absorb pace. I felt like I could hammer my return to either corner with this racquet.” The third reviewer who loved the racquet said he would recommend it to players who are “looking to swing big at the ball”.
Another reviewer enjoyed testing the TOUR: “The first time I hit the ball with this racquet, I knew that HEAD was on to something pretty sweet.” One tester described the HEAD GRAVITY TOUR 2025 as “a beauty and a success from HEAD”, offering “a good balance between comfort, spin and power”.
Playing with the “brilliant” HEAD GRAVITY 2025 racquets will bring you joy, this reviewer said. “This is a future-proofed tennis racquet that will make you happy every time you grab it out of the bag. It can’t get any better than this. It’s so nice when you hit with these racquets. It’s just fabulous. HEAD have delivered something which the competition is lacking. HEAD are so meticulous. They don’t fear doing something new and it works. If there’s a racquet to buy right now from HEAD, it’s the GRAVITY in my opinion.”
These racquets are “a good investment” in your game, he said: “When you buy such a well-developed, well-engineered and well-made tennis racquet, you have this confidence. These racquets deliver… And, at the same time, they are easy to use.”
The MP offers “loads of control”. “The launch from the strings is insane – the ball just flies. But I always have the feeling that it’s under my control. I love the MP. It’s so easy to use. I like this very much. The MP is better suited to lower beginners, intermediate players and maybe advanced juniors,” he said. The reviewer also loved the TOUR: “This racquet just goes, it flies. You can swing harder to get the power you want but you can also maintain control of the ball. This is for intermediate, advanced and tournament players.”
Tennis Guy admired the new design. “The colors are beautiful. This is fresh and super premium. This is how a tennis racquet should be made,” he said. “People were saying that the design looks amazing. People were blown away by the design. The glossy finish puts the racquets on the step above.”
The HEAD GRAVITY PRO 2025 “will have wide appeal”, according to this reviewer, who “enjoyed the softer feel” of this “modern control racquet”. “Serving is one of the best things with the GRAVITY PRO… A positive first impression,” he said.
The reviewer also praised the design. “The cosmetic is glossy. Really nice design. A thumbs up pretty much across the board. It looks like everyone loves it. I think HEAD has done a good thing here. This racquet will appeal to many players visually,” he said.
“If you’re serious about your game and play quite a bit of tennis at a high level,” said the reviewer, you should HEAD’s “high-end racquets for high-end players”. “HEAD absolutely crushes it when it comes to high-end racquets for those who want to play the game the way it’s meant to be played,” he observed.
The MP felt “plush and comfortable”, according to the reviewer, who liked the upgrade with Auxetic 2.0 technology, and said that the racquet would suit “aggressive baseliners” as well as “all-court players”. “From the baseline, I truly enjoyed this racquet. It’s a comfort racquet in the GRAVITY system and a control racquet but I thought it was quite powerful and had a lot of pop in this set-up. With the massive sweetspot, it’s a comfortable hit,” he said. “It’s also solid at the net.”
“Really awesome from the back of the court and moving forward. At the net, very stable and lots of control and feel. On serve, it was really solid,” the reviewer said. “‘Really good if you’re making aggressive swings. There’s lots of power available here without it being too powerful.”
“There’s a nice impact feel. You get a lot of good feedback. One of the things I have come to appreciate about the GRAVITY series is that comfortable flex. Great stuff from HEAD with the GRAVITY and we love the new look – the gloss is back,” said one reviewer.
The MP “is a really versatile racquet – you can be at net or on the baseline, pretty much anywhere”, said one tester.
When you hit the ball in the sweetspot of the PRO, “it feels so good”, one reviewer said. Another observed: “When you time the ball just right, it’s going to go and it will be pin-point accurate. This is one of the most impressive control racquets on the market.” A reviewer from Tennis Express also had positive things to say about the TOUR: “It feels good in my hand and it really feels good in my strokes. It’s the most spin-friendly and responsive GRAVITY racquet that we’ve had so far. Explosive, spin-friendly and still comfortable.”

Reviewers played with the GRAVITY MP 2023, the GRAVITY TOUR 2023 and the GRAVITY PRO 2023
“A phenomenal racquet,” the reviewer said of the GRAVITY MP 2023.
“The introduction of Auxetic makes the sweetspot a bit bigger and quite a bit more forgiving, which makes the whole racquet more stable. This feels softer than previous versions. Auxetic softens it up without taking away any connection to the ball. You really feel the ball sink into the string bed,” he added. “When I'm hitting hard from the baseline with a GRAVITY, I never feel as though I'm sacrificing on precision and control. That's the magic behind these racquets. It almost feels like you're cheating. It's a little bit more forgiving but you don't feel as though you're sacrificing any control. It has better feel and stability than the old version - it takes all the control of the previous one and improves it a little bit.”
The GRAVITY MP 2023 offers additional power, according to the reviewer. “The power has gone up. The sweetspot has got a bit bigger which inherently makes the racquet more powerful. As the graphite snaps back into place like a trampoline, there's more zing on the ball. I'm impressed.”
“Pretty much anyone” would enjoy playing with the GRAVITY MP 2023. “It was already a fantastic racquet and has basically improved on every metric. It could even work for intermediate players. It's light. But it's a racquet you can grow into and tap into the advanced playability characteristics as you get better. For advanced players, this racquet could also work as well.”
“I love the new cosmetic,” one reviewer said of the GRAVITY MP 2023.
“The racquet remains very comfortable. There's a huge sweetspot for extra forgiveness. I love the feel of the GRAVITY, especially when I line up a big groundstroke. The ball feels like it explodes off the strings and there's still comfortable flex. I love the sound you get on impact with the GRAVITY MP. One of my favourite things is that you can generate a flatter shot, get in early and get your opponent in trouble, and you can also hang back behind the baseline, hit with spin and try to get the ball up away from your opponent's strike zone. It's a really versatile frame, especially from the back of the court.”
Another reviewer observed that the GRAVITY MP 2023 was “super lovely and super fun to play with”. “I really enjoyed it. I had the power I wanted on my forehand and similar on my backhand. Serving with this racquet was amazing for me. This racquet would benefit advanced players who are looking for something precise, compact and smooth, with an all-round great feel to it.”
“I really connected to this racquet and enjoyed how it played,” one reviewer said of the GRAVITY PRO 2023. “The Auxetic technology makes it feel even more solid. I felt really connected to my shots. On my returns, I felt able to go big and appreciated the precision and control. The feel was amazing... but the racquet still felt very stable. There was tonnes of feel and it was awesome and on serve it was great. It was a great hitting experience.”
Another reviewer spoke of “a great play test”. “This racquet feels a little plusher without sacrificing any kind of energy return or power. A great versatile all-court racquet.”
