Top spot for HEAD: the number one tennis racquet brand in Europe in 2024

HEAD was the number one tennis racquet brand in Europe in 2024, boosted by exciting new products and the inspirational performances of HEAD’s ambassadors, including Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff and Barbora Krejčíková.

HEAD’s sales were helped by the launch of the new generation of the bestselling SPEED series, which is endorsed by Sinner. HEAD also launched the updated BOOM series, which is endorsed by Gauff and Lorenzo Musetti, and the upgraded EXTREME range, which is endorsed by Matteo Berrettini and Krejčíková.

An exceptional year for HEAD’s ambassadors, led by Sinner, contributed to HEAD’s successes across Europe, including a market share of more than 40% in Italy and almost 60% in Austria. Sinner won two Grand Slam titles, the Australian Open and the US Open, as well as the ATP Finals and also finished the season as the world number one. Remarkably, half of the eight-man field at the ATP Finals were HEAD ambassadors, with Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Andrey Rublev all qualifying. One of the most emotional and historic moments of the year saw Djokovic – whose greatness was celebrated with the launch of the exclusive SPEED LEGEND racquets – win his first Olympic title.

In the women’s game, Krejčíková captured her first Wimbledon singles title in 2024 and qualified for the WTA Finals, a tournament that was won for the first time by Gauff.

HEAD is also proud of the strong Balls sales across Europe in 2024, particularly in France where the brand was number one. HEAD’s Strings business also saw significant growth in 2024, which can be linked to the success of the ambassadors, with Sinner and Zverev both playing with Hawk Touch Strings while Fritz endorsed Hawk Strings, Musetti chose Lynx Tour Strings and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina opted for Hawk Power Strings.
