Die HEAD Worldcup Rebels schrieben in der Saison 2022/23 ein weiteres Kapitel Ski-Geschichte. Mit 8.750 Punkten hat HEAD das Brand Ranking der FIS wieder klar für sich entschieden. Beim Saison-Highlight, der Weltmeisterschaft in Courchevel/Meribel, war das HEAD-Team mit 13 Einzel-Medaillen ebenfalls die beste Ski-Marke. Im Weltcup holten die Rebels 67 Podestplätze – und damit wieder mehr als in der vergangenen Saison.

Mit ihrem dritten Saisonsieg sicherte sich Lara Gut-Behrami am Donnerstag in einem spannenden Finale in Soldeu die kleine Kristallkugel im Super-G. Für die Schweizerin war es bereits der vierte Gesamtsieg in dieser Disziplin. Vincent Kriechmayr gewann beim Finale am Mittwoch seine vierte Abfahrt in dieser Saison. Für Johan Clarey war dieses Rennen nach beeindruckenden 20-Weltcup-Jahren sein letztes. Lara Gut-Behrami wurde in der Abfahrt am Mittwoch Dritte, Ragnhild Mowinckel ebenfalls Dritte im Super-G am Donnerstag.

Mit zwei Podestplätzen im Riesenslalom geht Alexis Pinturault ins Weltcup-Finale. Der Franzose holte in Kranjska Gora am Samstag Platz zwei und am Sonntag Platz drei. Über drei Podiums durften sich die HEAD Worldcup Rebels bei den Damen in Aare freuen: Beim Riesenslalom am Freitag wurde Sara Hector Dritte, beim Slalom am Samstag Wendy Holdener Zweite und Anna Swenn-Larsson Dritte.

Die HEAD-Damen räumten am Wochenende in Kvitfjell fast alles ab: Beim Super-G am Freitag feierte HEAD mit Cornelia Hütter, Elena Curtoni und Lara Gut-Behrami einen Dreifach-Sieg. Am Samstag folgte bei der Abfahrt der erste volle Weltcup-Erfolg von Kajsa Vickhoff Lie, bei dem sie auch norwegische Ski-Geschichte schrieb. Platz drei ging in diesem Rennen an Corinne Suter. Und am Sonntag holte HEAD im zweiten Super-G mit Nina Ortlieb, Stephanie Venier und Franziska Gritsch erneut alle drei Podestplätze. Bei der Herren-Abfahrt am Samstag in Aspen fuhr James Crawford als Zweiter auf das Podium.

Mit Bronze für Lena Dürr im Slalom am Samstag fuhren die HEAD Worldcup Rebels am letzten Wochenende der Weltmeisterschaft in Courchevel/Meribel eine weitere Medaille ein. Damit ging für das HEAD-Team mit insgesamt 13 Einzelmedaillen die bisher erfolgreichste Weltmeisterschaft zu Ende. HEAD holte Gold als beste Skimarke der WM. Golden glänzten auch die Medaillen bei den neuen Weltmeistern Alexis Pinturault, James Crawford, Alexander Schmid und Maria Therese Tviberg.
